We often think of "end-users" and person-to-person communications. But I think it's time to also consider "content providers" in our thinking.
With some of the tools recently available (and pending) for the ZOT universe, I think things are moving to a point where Hubzilla/Zot may start to become attractive to content providers who are often concerned about their branding.
I'm wondering if anyone is willing to start putting together a "pitch" letter that could be tailored and sent to various media outlets to encourage them to look at the ZOT platforms (Hubzilla / Osada/Zap) as an intentional distribution method for their content.
What should be included in such a letter? What might the "value proposition" be for a publisher/media outlet?
I'm thinking that some things to highlight include the fact that with Hubzilla, they can maintain a single platform and have access to ActivityPub, Diaspora* and others to push their content and interact with their audience. It might also be a possible entry level project to create an addon that uses the official FB SDK to at least publish content and perhaps also the Twitter SDK. (Yes, I know we're trying to convince people to get OFF of those platforms, but remember we're talking about PUBLISHERS and CONTENT PROVIDERS in this conversation - and they are looking for ways to reach their audiences wherever they are).
If you were a "content provider" (think news organization or company brand manager), what additional tools might you want available?
